The present invention relates to an adaptive detection method of unusual heartbeat in accordance with an R-wave distortion on an electrocardiogram (ECG) signal. The present invention comprises the steps of: (a) detecting an R-peak candidate from an ECG signal and detecting an R-peak using a refractory period (RP) based on the kurtosis and potential of the R-peak candidate； (b) when at least one from the potential, the kurtosis, and the RR interval value exceeds the preset threshold value based on the detected R-peak, detecting a waveform including the R-peak as an unusual heartbeat (here, the RR interval indicates a distance between adjacent R-peaks)； (c) updating the potential and kurtosis of the R-peaks excluding the detected R-peaks and an average and a standard deviation of an RR interval； and (d) using the updated potential and kurtosis of the R-peaks and the updated average and standard deviation of the RR interval, adaptively varying the threshold value according to the ratio of the whole waveform and the normal waveform, and detecting an unusual heartbeat. Like this, the present invention can provide a stable and high detection rate with a simple method, further improve a calculation speed, and provide a detection method of the unusual heartbeat which can be applied to various applications for a real-time processing. The present invention can also effectively improve the efficiency of time and cost following a detection.본 발명은 심전도 신호에서 R파 왜곡에 따른 적응적 특이심박 검출방법에 관한 것으로, (a) 심전도 신호에서 R 정점 후보를 검출한 후, 상기 R 정점 후보의 첨도와 전위에 기반한 불응기(Refactory Period: RP)를 이용하여 R 정점을 검출하는 단계； (b) 상기 검출된 R 정점을 바탕으로 전위, 첨도 및 RR 간격값 중 적어도 어느 하나가 미리 설정된 문턱값 범위내에 벗어난 경우, 상기 R 정점을 포함하는 파형을 특이심박으로 검출하는 단계(여기서, RR 간격은 인접한 R 정점 사이의 거리를 나타낸다.)； (c) 검출된 상기 R 정점들을 제외한 R 정점들의 전위, 첨도 및 RR 간격의 평균과 표준편차를 업데이트하는 단계； 및 (d) 업데이트된 상기 R 정점의 전위, 첨도 및 RR 간격의 평균과 표준편차를 이용하여 전체 파형과 정상파형의 비에 따라 상기 문턱값을 적응적으로 가변하여 특이심박을 검출하는 단계를 포함한다.이와 같은 본 발명은 간단한 방법으로 안정되고 높은 검출율을 제공하고, 연산속도를 더욱 개선할 수 있으며, 실시간 처리를 위한 다양한 응
