There is provided a PTP packaging machine that enables a non-defective content not to be wasted but to be used and that achieves simplification of the apparatus and reduction of various costs. A filling device includes a downstream side rotating drum 58 used to fill tablets 5 as contents into pocket portions 2. The downstream side rotating drum 58 includes downstream side sucking portions 58A and is configured to change over the sucking state of the tablet 5 relative to the downstream side sucking portion 58A. When any of the tablets 5 to be supplied to an expected sheet portion that eventually forms a PTP sheet, is determined as a defective, the downstream side sucking portion 58A is kept in the sucking state. This configuration does not fill any non-defective tablet 5 into the pocket portion 2 of this expected sheet portion but keeps the non-defective tablet 5 sucked by the downstream side sucking portion 58A. The tablet 5 kept sucked by the downstream side sucking portion 58A is used for subsequent filling.
