PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for waist belts by which wastes in the manufacturing process are less.
SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for waist belts includes a process (A), a process (B), a process (C), a process (D) and process (E). In this case, in the process (A), a waist-surrounding stretchable material is pasted on a first end side region and a second end side region of a belt-like long sheet, and a leg-surrounding stretchable material is arranged in an intermediate region between the first end side region and the second end side region in a manner to draw a wave-like track which does not cross each other in the longitudinal direction of the long sheet. In addition, a stretchable sheet having a wave-like leg-surrounding stretchable material installation region, the first end side region and the second end side region other than the leg-surrounding stretchable material installation region is obtained by pasting a part. In the process (B), two pieces of a belt-like intermediate body sheet are obtained by cutting the stretchable sheet in a cutting track which passes the leg-surrounding stretchable material installation region, the first end side region, the leg-surrounding stretchable material installation region and the second end side region in this order. In the process (C), the two pieces of the intermediate body sheet are laminated. In the process (D), the two pieces of the intermediate body sheet are bonded. In the process (E), the waist belt having a bonded section on both side sections is obtained by cutting the two pieces of the intermediate body sheet.
