PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optometer which visualizes information on the degree etc., of an optical element displayed on a device, even within a dark room.
SOLUTION: The optometer has a pair of right and left inspection units having optical elements disposed in a casing. Using an operation part provided in the casing, a desired optical element is switch-disposed at the inspection window of the casing to perform self-conscious inspection of the refractive power etc., of a subject eye. The optometer is provided with: a first information display part which is provided outside of the casing in order to obtain the information on the optical element disposed at the inspection window by the operation part and which has a luminous paint which performs excited light emission with light applied thereon a second information display part which is provided within the casing in order to obtain the information on the optical element disposed at the inspection window by the operation part and which has a luminous paint which performs excited light emission with light applied thereon and a light guide part which guides light to a second information display part.
