PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin external preparation containing an L-ascorbic acid in high amount that is safe and effective to the skin but is an unstable active substance, the skin external preparation being supplied to the skin without changing the quality of the L-ascorbic acid.SOLUTION: The present invention is characterized by lyophilizing an aqueous solution containing an L-ascorbic acid, an excipient and a water-soluble polymer, and stabilizing the L-ascorbic acid activity with time. Further, the invention is characterized by stabilizing, for a certain period, the activity of an L-ascorbic acid that was dissolved with a phosphate buffer, skin lotion containing the phosphate buffer, or the like at the time of using. The invention is characterized by, additionally, stabilizing the activity of an equivalent L-ascorbic acid that was dissolved with water or a skin lotion that contains no phosphate buffer at the time of using, when the aqueous solution containing an L-ascorbic acid, an excipient, and a water-soluble polymer is lyophilized.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】 皮膚に対して安全かつ有効であるが不安定な活性物質であるL‐アスコルビン酸を高配合し、L-アスコルビン酸の品質を変化させることなく、肌に提供する皮膚外用剤。【解決手段】 L‐アスコルビン酸、賦形剤および水溶性高分子を配合した水溶液を凍結乾燥し、L‐アスコルビン酸の活性を経時的に安定させることを特徴とする。さらに、使用時にリン酸緩衝液またはリン酸緩衝液を含む化粧水等で溶解することで、溶解後のL‐アスコルビン酸の活性が一定期間安定となることを特徴とする。なお、L‐アスコルビン酸、賦形剤および水溶性高分子にリン酸緩衝液を配合した水溶液を凍結乾燥した場合は、使用時にリン酸緩衝液を含まない水もしくは化粧水等で溶解することで、同等のL‐アスコルビン酸の活性を経時的に安定させることを特徴とする。
