Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Unterdrucktherapie von Wunden umfassend, (a) ein Abdeckmaterial zum luftdichten Verschließen eines Wundraums； (b) gegebenenfalls ein Mittel zum Anschließen einer Unterdruckquelle； und (c) eine Wundauflage, enthaltend einen offenzelligen Polyurethanschaumstoff, wobei der offenzellige Polyurethanschaumstoff spezielle Eigenschaften, insbesondere eine Zugfestigkeit nach dreitägiger Lagerung in Rinderserum, gemessen gemäß DIN 53571 , zwischen 80 kPa und 300 kPa aufweist.
