"Violacein and deoxyviolacein production process optimized by factorial design and response surface analysis by chromobacterium violaceum". It is a procedure for optimizing the production of violacein and deoxyviolacein through experimental designs based on statistical principles. In the initial phase 11 factors were analyzed: carbon source (glucose), yeast extract, methionine, vitamin b12, l-tryptophan, agitation, temperature, ph (phosphate buffer), peptone, inoculum and zinc sulfate concentration. a standard fractional experimental design 2 ^ 15-11 ^ was used. In the second phase a central composite planning involving 5 factors: carbon source (glucose), yeast extract, 1-tryptophan, peptone and zinc sulfate. were chosen based on the result of the previous fractional factorial design. The planning consists of a fractional factorial 2 ^ 5 ^. In the final phase of optimization three factors: carbon source (glucose), yeast extract and l-tryptophan were studied using a central three-factor composite design. the average gross violacein production in this schedule was 0.36 g / l. 50% higher than in the other models studied.
