Thesmall size of the thermally-conductivepellets allow for efficient thermal communicationbetween pellets and samples. Thethermally-conductive pellets may comprise asolid or hollow construction of a sufficientlythermally-conductive material with orwithout an antimicrobial barrier incorporatedinto or onto the pellets.
