PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure the amount of moisture in the skin, even when the degree of contact between the skin and a sensor, differs every time of measurement.SOLUTION: A biological information measurement instrument for measuring an amount of moisture of the skin includes a sensor which has electrodes formed on a substrate and measures a charge amount of the skin in contact with the electrodes. An AC signal is applied to the sensor. A charge amount measured by the sensor after the electrodes are in contact with the skin until they separate is successively stored every fixed period of time to calculate a total amount of the charge measured by adding the stored charge amount. The calculated total amount of charge is divided by a time of measurement to calculate an average charge amount per unit time. On the basis of the average charge amount, the amount of moisture of the skin is calculated.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】計測毎に皮膚とセンサの接触の程度が異なるような場合であっても正確に皮膚の水分量を測定する。
