Viscous fluid has a viscosity of from about 50,000 centipoises to about 500,000 centipoises, is located in the syringe body and is injected by means of said piston into the peripheral portion of the human or animal body through the cannula. Inner thread is located at the distal end of the syringe, and the external thread is located on the bushing. Internal thread and the external thread provide a mating connection between the bushing and the distal end of the syringe. Bushing comprises a retaining cavity limited by the inner surface of the bushing and comprising a shoulder formed on its inner surface in such a way that it reduces the dead zone in the holding cavity and thereby reduces the volume of the fluid that can not be introduced to the patient during the operation.
