An endoscope includes an insertion part； an operation part attached to a proximal end part of the insertion part； a shaft-like member inserted into the insertion part, a proximal end part of the shaft-like member extends to the operation part, and the shaft-like member configured to be capable of advancing and retracting with respect to the insertion part； and a projectable unit provided at a distal end part of the insertion part； wherein the projectable unit includes a fixing part watertightly attached on an outer surface of the insertion part； a movable part provided in a state where a distal end is exposed to an outside, and is movable in a direction intersecting the outer surface by advancing and retracting the shaft-like member； and a coupling part which is elastically deformable and watertightly couples together the fixing part and the movable part.
