PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ablation catheter capable of reducing an operation time easily.SOLUTION: An ablation catheter comprises: a shaft part 120 inserted into a lumen 310 in a living body a first thermal element 122 thermally affecting a living tissue a second thermal element 124 which is provided separately on a base end side from the first thermal element 122 and thermally affects the living tissue an expandable and shrinkable balloon 130 and a curving mechanism for curving a tip of the shaft part 120. The balloon 130 is arranged at the same position in an axial direction as at least the second thermal element 124 so as to press the second thermal element 124 against a wall tissue T2 of the lumen 310 when the balloon expands. The curving mechanism curves the tip, where the first thermal element 122 is arranged, in a direction different from the second thermal element 124 and brings the first thermal element 122 into contact with a wall tissue T1 of the lumen 310 when the balloon 130 expands.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】施術時間を容易に短縮化し得るアブレーションカテーテルを提供する。【解決手段】生体内の管腔310に挿入されるシャフト部120と、生体組織に熱的影響を与える第1熱要素122と、第1熱要素122よりも基端側に離間して設けられた生体組織に熱的影響を与える第2熱要素124と、拡張および収縮可能なバルーン130と、シャフト部120の先端部を湾曲させる湾曲機構と、を有するアブレーションカテーテルである。バルーン130は、バルーンが拡張した際、第2熱要素124を管腔310の壁組織T2に押圧するように、少なくとも第2熱要素124と軸方向の同じ位置に配置されている。湾曲機構は、バルーン130が拡張した際、第1熱要素122が配置された先端部を第2熱要素124と異なる方向に湾曲させ、第1熱要素122を管腔310の壁組織T1に接触させる。【選択図】図3
