The present invention relates to multilayer materials for coating the metal intervertebral disk implants. According to the invention, the material consists of individual alternating monolayers described by the formula : (MeMeC/a : C-H)where n is the number of thin layers with the value in the range 5...400, MeMeC represents the carbide of two different metals selected from the series consisting of Ti, Zr, Nb, Ta and Hf and a:C-H represents the hydrogenated amorphous carbon layer.Prezenta invenţie se referă la materiale multistrat pentru acoperirea implanturilor metalice de disc intervertebral. Materialul conform invenţiei constă din monostraturi individuale alternate, descrise de formula: (MeMeC/a:C-H), în care n este numărul de straturi subţiri cu valori în intervalul 5...400, MeMeC reprezintă carbura a două metale diferite din seria Ti, Zr, Nb, Ta şi Hf, şi a-C:H reprezintă stratul de carbon amorf hidrogenat.
