The present invention relates to a composition containing a fat-soluble additive for coating a balloon catheter, a balloon catheter coated with the composition, and a preparation method of a drug-eluting balloon catheter, wherein the preparation method comprises coating the balloon catheter with the composition. The composition for coating a balloon catheter, according to the present invention, is able to evenly coat the surface of the balloon catheter, thereby allowing the drug to be effectively delivered in a short amount of time when the balloon is expanded. The effect of the delivered drug can last a long time on the target area, and thus the composition of the present invention can be used with a balloon catheter used in surgical procedures for cardiovascular diseases such as coronary artery disease, vascular restenosis and peripheral vascular occlusion, and improve the treatment effect of conventional balloon catheters.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016본 발명은 지용성 첨가제를 포함하는 풍선 카테터 코팅용 조성물, 상기 코팅용 조성물로 코팅된 풍선 카테터 및 상기 코팅용 조성물을 풍선 카테터에 코팅하는 것을 특징으로 하는 약물방출 풍선 카테터 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 풍선 카테터 코팅용 조성물은 풍선 카테터 표면에 고르게 분산되어 코팅되며 풍선 팽창 시 치료용 약물이 단시간에 효과적으로 전달될 수 있으며, 전달된 약물이 치료부위에서 장시간 효과를 지속 가능하도록 하여 관상동맥 질환, 혈관 재협착 및 말초혈관 폐색과 같은 심혈관계 질환의 시술용 풍선 카테터에 사용될 수 있어 종래 사용되던 풍선 카테터에 비해 치료 효과를 향상시킬 수 있다.
