PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray machine and a scattered radiation shielding device mounted on the same which can perform radiography on a jaw part while a patient is lying on his back on a dental chair, and reduce leakage of radiation to the outside from an extremely-localized small imaging space in the vicinity of the jaw part at the time of imaging.SOLUTION: An X-ray machine (1) comprises an X-ray tube arm (21) which holds an X-ray tube (23) rotatably around a specific site of a subject and a detector arm (22) which holds a detector (24) for detecting an X-ray rotatably around the specific site. The machine also comprises a lift (14) which holds the X-ray tube arm and the detector arm rotatably and provides an imaging space for allowing both arms to rotate around the specific site. The lift is mounted on a pedestal part (12), and casters (11) are attached to the pedestal part.
