PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image in a desired band and an image for observation by a simple structure.
SOLUTION: The image capturing system includes an image capturing part having a plurality of first light receiving elements for receiving the light in a first wavelength range and a plurality of second light receiving elements for receiving the light in a second wavelength range a control part for generating light of different spectra at different times from a subject in the first wavelength range and in the second wavelength range and an image generating part for generating images from the light of a first spectrum from the subject received by the first light receiving elements at prescribed timing and from the light of a second spectrum from the subject received by the second light receiving elements at prescribed timing.
