PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-branch pruning aid capable of ensuring a high-trees falling direction and enhancing safety when pruning.SOLUTION: There is provided a high-branch pruning aid comprising a fixed hook 1 and a movable hook 2 openably attached to each other with a support shaft 3 as a fulcrum having a first hook portion 1a and a second hook portion 2a formed at respective end portions thereof for pinching a high branch a long rod connecting portion 4 disposed at a proximal end portion of the fixed hook 1 to removably connect a long rod 18 and opening and closing means of performing opening and closing operations on the movable hook 2 with respect to the fixed hook 1 with the support shaft 3 as a fulcrum.
