A seeding machine (10) with a brush belt (82), the seeding machine (10) being configured to move seed (80) along a seed path with a brush belt (82), the brush belt (82) being contained, at least in part, by a brush belt housing (70) and including attached brush ends (72b) and free brush ends (72a). In order to provide a cleaning for the brush belt it is proposed to provide a brush conditioner comprising: a conditioning member (100) having a mounting portion (100a) and a conditioning portion (100b), the mounting portion (100a) being attached to the brush belt housing (70) and the conditioning portion (100b) being angled with respect to the mounting portion (100a) and extending, at least in part, across the brush belt (82)； wherein the conditioning portion (100b) contacts a portion of the free brush ends (72a) to deflect the free brush ends (72a) toward, at least in part, the attached brush ends (72b) and to remove debris from the free brush ends (72a).
