The head portion 4a includes: an electronic shutter register 40 configured to store a set value for controlling an image pickup device 10, among control data transmitted from the connector portion 4c a controllability register 45 configured to store information indicating whether or not to transmit the set value for controlling the image pickup device 10, among the control data transmitted from the connector portion 4c, to a register 51 provided in the image pickup device 10 and a communication circuit 49 configured to perform control of whether or not to transmit the set value stored in the electronic shutter register 40 to the register 51 provided in the image pickup device 10 based on the information stored in the controllability register 45.
