The present invention relates to an apparatus for sterilizing and managing an image plate (IP) cassette, and more specifically, to an apparatus for sterilizing and managing an X-ray cassette, comprising: a main unit a front surface of which is opened a door opening/closing the opened front surface of the main unit at least one holding part laterally installed inside the main unit and holding the IP cassette a sterilization unit installed on any one of a ceiling of the main unit and a lower end of the holding unit to sterilize the IP cassette a control unit installed inside the main unit, controlling the sterilization unit, and managing information of the IP cassette and a control panel unit installed on the front surface of the main unit, outputting information related to the IP cassette, and controlling the control unit.
