PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image diagnosis catheter which has a structure to hardly form a tendency of bending a tubular body portion, is immediately usable when used after taking-out from a storage bag, is easily operated and convenient, and has no problem in storage place.
SOLUTION: In the image diagnosis catheter, a sheath 1 where a driving shaft 20 having a signal transmission/reception part at the distal end is slidably arranged inside is connected to a driving device 70 for driving the driving shaft via a first connector 50 and a second connector 40. The catheter includes the tubular bodies which cover the proximal end side of the driving shaft and where the distal end is enterable to the first connector and the proximal end is connected to the second connector. The tubular bodies 54, 56 arranged in the image diagnosis catheter are freely extendable in an axial direction.
