The present invention addresses the problem of providing a novel compound having an antiviral activity against at least HBVs and having low toxicity to a host cell. Provided is a compound represented by general formula (1) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. In the formula, R represents a hydrogen atom, a cyano group, an alkyl group which may have a substituent, an alkenyl group which may have a substituent, or an azide group.
