PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus capable of providing comfortable scanning for a patient, and capable of preventing retrial of scanning caused by a physiological phenomenon and unnecessary exposure of the patient.SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus 1 includes a top board 28 on which a subject O can be placed, and a switch 33 set in such a range as can be operated by the subject O placed on the top board 28 for indicating at least the start of waiting period suggesting the start of the waiting time for scanning.
