PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric including a plurality of projection parts in which different heights are excellently formed, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A nonwoven fabric 10 which comprises recessed parts 4 in which uneven surfaces 5 of the nonwoven fabric 10 in which a plurality of junctions 3 between non-heat shrinkage fiber layers 1 and heat shrinkage fiber layers 2 are separately laminated are made due to that the junctions 3 are recessed from the non-heat shrinkage fiber layers 1 to the heat shrinkage fiber layers 2 and high projection parts 6 having a solid dome surrounded with the junctions 3, and low projection parts 7 lower than the high projection parts 6 is such that: the high projection part 6 is arranged in a large polygonal area 8 divided by the junction 3, an end part, and a linear part connecting an interval between the end parts the low projection part 7 is arranged in a small polygonal area 9 divided by the junction 3, the end part, and the linear part connecting an interval between the end parts, and having an area smaller than that of the large polygonal area 8 and the linear part 2 is arranged obliquely to the fiber orientation direction of the non-heat shrinkage fiber layer 1 and a direction orthogonal to the fiber orientation direction of the non-heat shrinkage fiber layers 1.
