PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-treated powder having excellent moisture retention, excellent dispersibility in an oil component or an alcohol, and high compatibility with dermal tissue, and to provide a cosmetic obtained by formulating the powder and having excellent usability.SOLUTION: The surface-treated powder is obtained by covering a base powder with hyaluronic acid or a derivative thereof through a silane coupling agent having a primary amino group.
