Described herein are oral pharmaceutical compositions of corticosteroids that undergo a sol- gel transition, as well as methods of making such oral pharmaceutical compositions, and therapeutic methods using them. The compositions typically comprise a corticosteroid, a solvent for the corticosteroid and a thermoreversible polymer. The compositions are particularly useful for treating inflammatory conditions of the esophagus, such as eosinophilic esophagitis.Linvention concerne des compositions pharmaceutiques orales de corticostéroïdes qui subissent une transition sol-gel, ainsi que des procédés de préparation de telles compositions pharmaceutiques orales, et des méthodes thérapeutiques utilisant celles-ci. Les compositions comprennent dune manière générale un corticostéroïde, un solvant pour le corticostéroïde et un polymère thermoréversible. Les compositions sont particulièrement utiles pour traiter des états inflammatoires de lœsophage, tels que lœsophagite à éosinophiles.
