PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a threshing apparatus that allows the subject of processing to be smoothly introduced into a processor.SOLUTION: The threshing apparatus 10 includes a threshing cylinder 16, a processing cylinder 30, a threshing chamber 15, and a process subject guide plate 35. The threshing cylinder 16 has a plurality of threshing teeth 22 on its outer periphery and rotates about a rotation axis 17. The processing cylinder 30 has a plurality of processing teeth 33 on its outer periphery and rotates about a rotation axis 32 that is approximately parallel to the rotation axis 17 of the threshing cylinder 16. The threshing chamber 15 houses the threshing cylinder 16 and the processing cylinder 30. The process subject guide plate 35 guides the subject of processing generated in the threshing cylinder 16 toward the processing cylinder 30. A ceiling surface of the casing of the threshing chamber 15 has a separating part that separates from the rotation locus of the tip of the threshing tooth 22 as it extends toward the downstream side of the threshing cylinder 16 along its rotation direction. The process subject guide plate 35 is positioned downstream of an end 27a of a ceiling plate 27 in the starting position of the separating part.
