An ultraviolet light source used in Photocatalysis: process for cleaning environments where microbial pathogens or Volatile organic compounds are present causing HAI ( hospital acquired infections) or malodors are disclosed. In one embodiment, a disinfection and deodorizing equipment is disclosed which includes a chamber I having an inlet for receiving air and an outlet for discharging clean air by Photocatalysis process which in turn accelerates the Oxidization process in the atmosphere and decomposes any airborne toxic or volatile organic matter.: The chamber further includes a plurality of segmented bafflek with various isizes , shapes and designs.
