PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush with a cap which does not impair the use feeling of the tooth brush, is small in size and excellent in design performance, and has a fit feeling when gripped by a hand.SOLUTION: An engagement groove 18 engaged with the cap 30 is formed in the middle of a grip 14 of the electric toothbrush 10 in the longitudinal direction. A shape of a cross section of a fitting part 22 of the grip 14 has an apex angle at its front side, makes the back-face side as a bottom side, and is formed into an isosceles triangle shape with three corners formed into circular shapes. The toothbrush is formed into a such a shape that it downwardly swollen sideways at its back-face side porion, the cross section continuously becomes small while keeping a substantially-similar shape as progressing toward the side of a neck 15 from the engagement groove 18 so that the tip external peripheral face of the fitting part 22 may smoothly be continuous to the neck 15, a base of the cap 30 is formed into an internal face shape adapted to a base of the fitting part 22, the tip of the cap 30 is formed into an oval shape which surrounds a hair-planted part 13, and the base of the cap 30 and the tip are smoothly continued to each other.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】歯ブラシの使用感を低下させることなく、小型で且つ意匠性に優れ、しかも手で持ったときのフィット感のあるキャップ付き歯ブラシを提供する。【解決手段】電動歯ブラシ10のグリップ部14の長さ方向の途中部にキャップ30との係合溝18が形成され、グリップ部14の嵌合部22の断面形状が、正面側を頂角となし、背面側を底辺となし、3つの角部を円弧状となした2等辺三角形状であって、背面側部分が側方へ膨出する下膨れ形状に形成されるとともに、嵌合部22の先端外周面が首部15に滑らかに連なるように、係合溝18から首部15側へ行くにしたがって断面が略相似形で連続的に小さくなるように形成され、キャップ30の基部が嵌合部22の基部に適合する内面形状に形成され、キャップ30の先端部が植毛部13を取り囲む小判型に形成され、キャップ30の基部と先端部とが滑らかに連なる。【選択図】図1
