PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep detection precision of line of sight position of a driver high.SOLUTION: Brightness around a vehicle is detected, and if a change amount in brightness around a vehicle exceeds a predetermined amount, a line of sight position detected by a line of sight detection means is calibrated. It is thought that, if the change amount in brightness around the vehicle becomes larger, the detection precision of the line of sight position is easy to degrade. When the change amount in brightness around the vehicle exceeds a predetermined amount, the line of sight position detected by the line of sight detection means is calibrated. Thus, by making calibration at the timing when the detection precision of the line of sight position degrades, detection precision can be raised.
