PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for driving fishing reel which is convenient to maintain with a cover (lid) detachable without using a tool.SOLUTION: In the device for driving fishing reel, tightening members 4, 4 are turned from a releasing position to a locking position, an annular connecting surface 41 of the tightening member 4, 4 and a connecting surface 243 of a fixing seat 24 of a cage 20 are threadedly engaged with each other, when an abutment periphery 431 abuts on an annular flange 32 and on the locking position the lid 3, 3 closely contacts the annular flange 32 and the abutment periphery 431, 431 of the tightening member 4, 4 and closely fixed on a reel body 2.
