The plunger has at least one resiliently having a first segment attached to the plunger body and a second segment that protrudes toward the distal end of the plunger body and can deflect relative to the first segment. It further has a deflectable holding member. The plunger further has at least one actuating member associated with at least one elastically deflectable retaining member. At least one actuating member interacts with the piston to deflect at least one elastically deflectable retaining member upon rotation of the plunger relative to the piston.
