A PTO support assembly for a work vehicle train includes a work vehicle havinga PTO driveshaft and a work implement, towed by the work vehicle, having a PTO shaft. ThePTOsupport assembly has a mounting base with a connection interface coupled tothe workimplement. A support member is coupled to the mounting base and has a supportinterfacefor contacting the PTO shaft. The PTO support is adjustable to a supportposition in whichthe support interface is maintained at a height corresponding to a height atwhich the PTOshaft is engaged with the PTO drive shaft.
