PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for using polymer-bonded interferon β in therapy by the interferon alone or in combination with other cancer therapy.SOLUTION: There are provided treatment methods of (1) to (5) below. (1) a method for treating melanoma, which is a method for administering an inhibitor or an alkylating drug of protein kinase on Ras-Raf-MEK-ERK pathway, and furthermore for administering pegylated interferon β1a or 1b. (2) a method for treating renal cell carcinoma, which is a method for administering an anti-VEGF antibody, an mTOR inhibitor, or an Raf-1 inhibitor, and furthermore for administering, the pegylated interferon β1a or 1b. (3) a method for treating colon cancer, which is a method for administering the anti-VEGF antibody, and furthermore for administering the pegylated interferon β1a or 1b. (4) a method for treating breast cancer, which is a method for administering a mitosis inhibitor, and furthermore for administering the pegylated interferon β1a or 1b. (5) a method for treating the cancer disease, which is a method for administering the pegylated interferon β1a or 1b alone.SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】単独治療又は他のがん治療と組み合わせたポリマー結合インターフェロンβの使用方法の提供。【解決手段】以下の（１）～（５）の治療方法。（１）メラノーマの治療方法であって、Ｒａｓ－Ｒａｆ－ＭＥＫ－ＥＲＫ経路におけるプロテインキナーゼの阻害剤又はアルキル化薬を投与し、更にペグ化インターフェロンβ１ａ又は１ｂを投与する方法。（２）腎細胞癌の治療方法であって、抗ＶＥＧＦ抗体、ｍＴＯＲ阻害剤、又はＲａｆ－１阻害剤を投与し、更にペグ化インターフェロンβ１ａ又は１ｂを投与する方法。（３）結腸癌の治療方法であって、抗ＶＥＧＦ抗体を投与し、更にペグ化インターフェロンβ１ａ又は１ｂを投与する方法。(4)乳癌の治療方法であって、有糸分裂阻害剤を投与し、更にペグ化インターフェロンβ１ａ又は１ｂを投与する方法。（５）前記癌疾患の治療方法において、ペグ化インターフェロンβ１ａ又は１ｂ単独を投与する方法。【選択図】なし
