PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biosensor and a biological information detection apparatus capable of accurately detecting a weak optical component.SOLUTION: The biosensor includes: a substrate 22 with translucency a light emitting element 24 disposed on a surface where the substrate 22 is mounted to emit light a light receiving element 26 disposed on a surface where the substrate 22 is not mounted to receive reflected light from a living body among the light emitted from the light emitting element 24 and to output a signal corresponding to the received light and a light guide member 29 with translucency, disposed in the substrate 22 in such a way as to cover one of the light emitting element and light receiving element, or for example, the light emitting element 24, and having a contact surface, which projects toward the living body, to be brought into contact with the living body.
