A method for improving sleep quality in a patient suffering from bladder hyperactivity, comprising: (a) identifying a patient in need, and (b) administering to said patient a therapeutically effective amount of the first compound, its free base or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt, or prodrug, and a therapeutically effective amount of a second compound, its free base or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or prodrug thereof, wherein the first compound is an antimuscarinic or anti an olinergic agent, and the second compound is a muscarinic agonist, thereby improving the quality of sleep in a patient. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the first compound is selected from the group consisting of oxybutynin, tolterodine, solifenacin, darifenacin, trospium, fesoterodine, propiverine, imidafenacin and dicyclomine. A method according to claim 1, characterized in that the second compound is selected from the group consisting of pilocarpine, tsevimelin, anethole trition, aclatopia atapisilate and yohimbine. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the first compound and the second compound are administered almost simultaneously. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the first compound is introduced before the second compound. A method according to claim 1, characterized in that the first compound and the second compound are placed together in the same dosage form. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the first compound is administered in a daily dose of from 0.1 mg to 50 mg. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the second compound is administered in a daily dose of from 0.1 mg to 100 mg.
