PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing superoxide dismutase fusion protein is provided to thicken conjunctival epithelium and to reduce corneal injury.CONSTITUTION: An ophthalmic composition for preventing and treating opthalimic diseases contains a fusion protein which is conjugated with protein transducing domains at one or more among N-terminal and C-terminal of superoxide dismutase.
