A sensor cable for measuring moisture inside a grain bin includes a moisturesensorconnected to a moisture sensor wire and a pair of holes in the sensor cable.Theholes are associated with the moisture sensor to enable the moisture sensor tosense moisture via both of the holes. In one implementation, a moisture sensorisconnected to a 3-wire interface having separate power and data wires, therebyincreasing the read speed. In one implementation, the moisture sensor isencapsulated within a node that is flush with the sensor cable to minimizeload onthe sensor cable from the surrounding grain.
