A lighthead (100) for operating room service, said lighthead comprising a plurality of light sources (102), preferably LED elements, for generating a light field on a site to be illuminated, as well as adjustment elements (1002) for modifying features of said light field, said adjustment elements comprising a user interface for modifying features of the light field by the actions of a lighthead operator (104), characterized in that the user interface further comprises projection elements (304, 1008) for projecting adjustment instructions on or around the light field. A method utilizing the lighthead for projecting adjustment instructions is presented.
