A medical data generation system (1) for generating three dimensional medical data (2) of a body part (3) includes a x-ray system (4), a ultrasound system (5) and a processor (14). The x-ray system (4) has a x-ray source (6) and a x-ray detector (7), wherein the x-ray system (4) provides a two dimensional data (10) with information about a first dimension (15) and a second dimension (16) in a three dimensional space by transmitting an x-ray radiation (24) from the x-ray source (6) through the body part (3) and receiving the x-ray radiation (24) by the x-ray detector (7). The ultrasound system (5) has a ultrasound source (8) and a ultrasound detector (9), wherein the ultrasound system (5) provides a third dimensional data (11) having information about a third dimension (17) in the three dimensional space by transmitting an ultrasound wave (25) from the ultrasound source (8) through the body part (3) and receiving the ultrasound wave (25) by the ultrasound detector (9). The processor (14) adapted to receive the two dimensional data (10) and the third dimensional data (11) and process the two dimensional data (10) and the third dimensional data (11) to produce a three dimensional data (2) of the body part (3).
