A method tracks a users operation of an ultrasound system. Based on the tracked operations, the method uses a machine-learning module to generate a proposed custom system configuration for the ultrasound system for the user. The proposed custom system configuration is presented to the user. In response to a user instruction, the proposed custom system configuration is implemented on the ultrasound system.
