PURPOSE: A beta-carotene hydroxylase 1 gene promoter and expression vector having the same are provided to induce expression of target protein through whole plant body. CONSTITUTION: An AtBch1 promoter for inducing constitutive expression comprises a nucleotide sequence of sequence number 1. A recombinant vector for inducing constitutive expression contains the promoter. The vector is pBGWFS7-PAtBch1 vector(KACC 95096P). A transgenic plant is prepared using transformed cells and the vector.본 발명은 베타카로틴 수산화효소 1 유전자 프로모터 및 이를 포함하는 발현벡터에 관한 것으로서 보다 상세하게는 식물체 내에서 전신 발현을 유도하는 새로운 프로모터인 베타카로틴 수산화효소 1 유전자 프로모터 및 이를 포함하는 발현벡터에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 프로모터 및 이를 이용한 재조합 벡터는 식물체 전 조직에 걸쳐서 목적단백질의 발현을 유도할 수 있으며, 종래에 흔히 사용되는 CaMV 35S 프로모터에 비해서 우수한 발현 유도 효과를 갖는다. 따라서 본 발명의 프로모터 및 이를 포함하는 발현벡터는 유용 유전자의 식물체 내에서의 발현의 목적으로 유용하게 사용할 수 있다.
