The present invention provides a substrate for growing Lentinula edodes mushroom, which comprises Quercus sp sawdust, Zae mays stubble, Zea mays corn cobs, CaSO4, and water. The invention also provides a method for the production of Lentinula edodes mushroom, which includes the incubation of the mushroom in the substrate at 28°C for a period of time of 4 months under dark conditions.La presente invención proporciona un sustrato para el cultivo del hongo Lentinula edodes el cual comprende aserrín de Quercus sp, rastrojo de Zea mays, olote de Zea mays, CaSO4, y agua. La presente también proporciona un método para la producción del hongo Lentinula edodes que incluye la incubación del hongo en el sustrato a 28°C durante un periodo de 4 meses en condiciones de oscuridad.
