A hair measurement tool (1) includes a plate-shaped elongated member (2). A curved concave part (3) is formed at one end part (2a) of the member (2) and scale lines (6) are indicated on one surface (2e) of the member (2) with intervals at 10 mm unit from the one end part (2a). In the hair measurement tool (1), V-shaped notches (4) are formed in both side surfaces (2c, 2d) corresponding to each position of the scale lines (6). The hair measurement tool (1) is used for, by placing the one end part (2a) on a head, performing hair cut with hairdressing scissors positioned at the notch (4) (position controlled) after measuring with the scale lines (6) the hair (or hair bundle) picked from the head.
