The invention is directed to a short term induction treatment with anti-N3pGlu Aβ antibodies of a disease characterized by deposition of Aβ in the brain, that include Alzheimer's disease (AD), Down's syndrome, and cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA). In certain embodiments, patients are administered an induction dose of 10 to 60 mg/kg of an anti-N3pGlu Aβ antibody for a period of 6 months or less.本發明係有關一種用抗-N3pGlu Aβ抗體短期誘導治療特徵為腦中Aβ沈積之疾病，該疾病包括阿茲海默氏病(Alzheimer's disease，AD)、唐氏症候群(Down's syndrome)及腦類澱粉血管病(cerebral amyloid angiopathy；CAA)。在某些實施例中，患者係每公斤體重投與10至60 mg之誘導劑量之抗-N3pGlu Aβ抗體達一段6個月或少於6個月之時間。
