PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide identification and production of neutralizing antibodies against influenza A viruses, and methods and means for using neutralizing antibodies produced.SOLUTION: The invention relates to neutralizing antibodies against various influenza A virus subtypes, and methods and means for producing such antibodies. Further, the neutralizing antibodies can be used for prevention and/or treatment of influenza virus infection. Also provided is a binding molecule which comprises one, two or three hypervariable region sequences from a heavy chain selected from specified amino acid sequences, or a functionally active fragment thereof.
