The present invention relates to: novel hydroxamic acid based on quinazoline-4(3H)-one as a histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor； and uses thereof. More specifically, a compound according to the present invention has potent inhibitory activity of HDAC, thereby being able to be used as a proliferation inhibitor for various cancer cells. Therefore, the compound according to the present invention is expected to be developed as an active component of potent anticancer agents.본 발명은 HDAC(histone deacetylase) 억제제로서 신규한 퀴나졸린-4(3H)-원 기반 하이드록삼산, 및 그들의 용도에 관한 것이다. 보다 구체적으로, 본 발명에 따른 화합물은 강력한 HDAC의 억제 활성을 가지므로, 다양한 암세포에 대한 증식억제제로서 사용될 수 있다. 따라서, 본 발명에 따른 화합물은 강력한 항암제의 활성성분으로서 개발될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
