The present invention relates to a method for preparing turmeric pills containing curcumin at a high content and having improved preference, and turmeric pills obtained thereby. The present invention provides turmeric having various health-enhancing effects in the form of pills which are easy to eat, have a maximized content of curcumin, are free from bitterness and odor unique to turmeric, and thus have improved preference and product value. The method includes the steps of: removing turmeric seeds from turmeric and sorting turmeric seeds having a length of 50-150 mm; finely cutting the sorted turmeric seeds to a thickness of 0.5-5 mm; aging the finely cut turmeric seeds at a temperature of 35-45°;C for 24-48 hours; introducing the aged turmeric seeds to a dryer, drying the same under the conditions of a humidity of 40-60% and a temperature of 25-35°;C for 2-6 hours, additionally drying the same under the conditions of a humidity of 10-30% and a temperature of 15-25°;C for 2-6 hours, and further drying the same under the conditions of a humidity of 1-3% and a temperature of 1-10°;C for 8-12 hours; pulverizing the dried turmeric seeds to a size of 100-300 mesh to obtain turmeric powder; mixing and kneading 100 parts by weight of the pulverized turmeric powder with 1-5 parts by weight of purified water and forming the resultant mixture into the shape of pills; introducing the resultant pills to a sugar coater and drying the pills at low temperature, while they are coated with sugar coating at 30-40°;C for 2-3 hours; and introducing the low-temperature dried pills to a drier and further drying the pills at 40-60°;C for 20-24 hours.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020본 발명은 고함량 커큐민과 기호성이 향상된 울금환 제조방법 및 그 방법으로 제조된 울금환에 관한 것으로, 각종 건강 증진의 효능을 갖는 울금을 먹기 좋은 환 형태로 제공하되, 커큐민 함량을 극대화하고, 울금 특유의 쓴맛과 냄새를 제거하여 기호성 및 상품성을 향상시킨 울금환 및 그 제조방법을 제공하는데 것이다.본 발명은 울금으로부터 신강을 분리하고, 신강 길이가 50~150mm 범위에 있는 것을 선별하는 단계; 상기 선별된 울금 신강을 0.5~5mm 두께로 세절하는 단계; 상기 세절된 울금 신강을 35~45℃ 온도에서 24~48시간 동안 숙
