PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening construction method for reducing maintenance management labor of an existing roof, and easily enabling rooftop greening. SOLUTION: This greening construction method includes applying rubber coating to an existing roof made of a slate or a metal plate, and further forming a greening layer 2 containing moss or moss spore on the rubber coating layer 1. Rooftop greening is easily achieved by installing the rubber coating layer 1 to be a protective layer and a foundation layer to grow moss for the existing roof of a factory adopting a framework secured in load strength with a safety factor.
