PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition including a human monoclonal antibody to bind with the human oxidized LDL receptor or a part thereof, a cell to produce the human monoclonal antibody, and a substance to inhibit the interaction of the human monoclonal antibody or the oxidized LDL receptor with a ligand thereof.SOLUTION: A variety of human monoclonal antibodies that bind to human LOX-1 and thus inhibit the binding of LOX-1 of ligands in vivo to LOX-1 and the incorporation of these ligands into cells mediated by LOX-1, are obtained by immunizing a human antibody-producing transgenic mouse that is constructed by using genetic engineering techniques, with soluble human oxidized LDL receptor (LOX-1). Moreover, there is provided a pharmaceutical composition including the human monoclonal antibody, being found out to be efficacious in preventing and treating various diseases.【課題】ヒト酸化LDL受容体に結合するヒトモノクローナル抗体若しくはその一部、該ヒトモノクローナル抗体を産生する細胞、該ヒトモノクローナル抗体または該酸化LDL受容体とそのリガンドの相互作用を阻害する物質を含んでなる医薬組成物を提供する。【解決手段】遺伝子工学技術を用いて作製したヒト抗体産生トランスジェニックマウスに可溶性ヒト酸化LDL受容体（LOX-1）を免疫することにより、ヒトLOX-1に結合し、LOX-1の生体内リガンドのLOX-1への結合、及びLOX-1を介する該リガンドの細胞内への取込みを阻害する種々のヒトモノクローナル抗体。さらに、種々の疾患の予防及び治療に有効であることを見出された、該ヒトモノクローナル抗体を含む医薬品組成物。【選択図】なし
